Como profesionales, nos damos cuenta de la importancia y el car\u00e1cter sagrado del duelo, sin temerlo ni juzgar nuestro camino de curaci\u00f3n; y aunque el duelo es personal y sucede a su tiempo y a su manera, cada viaje es diferente. A veces, sencillamente, no tenemos el espacio para hacer el duelo, y podemos encontrarnos sufriendo a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s sin reconocerlo como un duelo no resuelto.<\/p><p>Hay muchas situaciones que nos causan dolor y tristeza: p\u00e9rdidas que nos cambian la vida; la muerte de un ser querido; el fin de una relaci\u00f3n; la muerte de una mascota; el fin de un trabajo; un divorcio. Luego est\u00e1 el dolor cotidiano: un amigo nos decepciona; nuestros hijos tienen dificultades; sentimos la p\u00e9rdida de nuestras ra\u00edces y de nuestra comunidad. Nuestra cultura parece alentar el \"no hacer nada\" y el \"seguir adelante\". Pero no tiene por qu\u00e9 ser as\u00ed. No hay un plazo ni una soluci\u00f3n para \"superar\" o \"seguir adelante\" con el duelo. Pero podemos aprender a crecer alrededor de nuestras dolorosas heridas y empezar a llegar a un lugar de paz y recordar con m\u00e1s amor que dolor. El duelo no es algo que simplemente se \"arregla\", sino un proceso que se aprende a recorrer con tiempo, paciencia y autocompasi\u00f3n. Un \u00e9nfasis excesivo en la humanidad com\u00fan y la universalidad puede llevarnos a evitar comprometernos con la diferencia en toda su riqueza y desaf\u00edo. Iluminaremos c\u00f3mo es ser un ser humano en este momento concreto de la historia. Los participantes tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre su relaci\u00f3n personal con el medio ambiente, compartir experiencias y desarrollar planes de acci\u00f3n para colaborar con otras personas que trabajan en este campo o incorporar la atenci\u00f3n plena a sus esfuerzos personales para hacer frente a la crisis clim\u00e1tica.\u00a0<\/p><p>Este taller est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para acad\u00e9micos, activistas medioambientales, profesionales de la salud mental y cualquier persona interesada en integrar mindfulness en su enfoque para abordar la crisis clim\u00e1tica. Nuestra esperanza es abrir un di\u00e1logo de investigaci\u00f3n mutua, escuchando y aprendiendo unos de otros, explorando colectivamente c\u00f3mo podr\u00eda ser la atenci\u00f3n plena en las generaciones futuras. Tendremos la oportunidad de escuchar las \u00faltimas investigaciones de <strong>Profesora Katherine Weare<\/strong>Una visi\u00f3n general de las lecciones aprendidas en el desarrollo de la atenci\u00f3n plena en la escuela, introduciendo un marco que ofrece diversos puntos de entrada y una serie de caminos para introducir y mantener la atenci\u00f3n plena dentro y para las comunidades educativas, incluyendo: un enfoque consciente de cualquier papel en una escuela; la ense\u00f1anza consciente de las materias; la ense\u00f1anza discreta de la atenci\u00f3n plena a los estudiantes; el apoyo a las comunidades escolares de profesores de atenci\u00f3n plena, y el desarrollo intencional de toda una cultura escolar que encarna los valores, cualidades y actitudes de la atenci\u00f3n plena.<\/p><p>En este taller tambi\u00e9n se reflexionar\u00e1 sobre la reciente obra inspiradora de <strong>Esther Ghey<\/strong> (madre de la adolescente brit\u00e1nica asesinada, Brianna) para financiar la formaci\u00f3n en mindfulness de un profesor en cada escuela de la ciudad natal de Brianna, Warrington, as\u00ed como para concienciar sobre mindfulness a los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y a los responsables de la toma de decisiones. Estamos encantados de que Esther pueda unirse a nosotros para compartir sus puntos de vista como madre, practicante de mindfulness y directora de la nueva CIC, Peace and Mind UK, y de que <strong>Emily Slater (Directora General de MiSP)<\/strong> se unir\u00e1 a ella para esto.<\/p><p>Conocido por sus planes de estudios espec\u00edficos para cada edad, este taller incluir\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n una muestra del plan de estudios m\u00e1s reciente de MiSP, adaptado a nuestros alumnos m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes, de 3 a 6 a\u00f1os, as\u00ed como del plan de estudios de The Present para escuelas, con la oportunidad de escuchar directamente al director y autor del plan de estudios de The Present, <strong>Sarah Silverton<\/strong>en el marco de una nueva colaboraci\u00f3n oficial entre ambas organizaciones.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Se trata de un taller abierto a todos, y ser\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n una oportunidad para que los educadores y cualquier persona que cuide de ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes a t\u00edtulo profesional o personal, o que sienta pasi\u00f3n por otros motivos, se re\u00fanan y establezcan contactos.
