Final Call for Bursary Applications

As the ICM:2024 conference start date approaches, we are still able to offer bursaries to anyone who needs one to enable you to attend, either in-person or online.

Our intention throughout has been to make this conference as inclusive and accessible as possible. We recognize that for many there are economic barriers and that is why we created a generous bursary scheme. We’re delighted that many people are making use of this; 100 bursaries have already been offered and a number more are in the pipeline.

The online conference and bursaries combined should remove most financial barriers to participation. An online ticket also means that you will get access to recordings from the conference too, so you can enjoy the conference at your leisure.

We have made the process for applying for a bursary as straightforward as possible:

1. Check the boxes on the application form for the ticket you are applying for and the reduction you are seeking.
2. If you cannot afford 50% of the ticket price, fill in the “Other Information” section with the amount you can afford.
3. The bursary panel reviews each application anonymously.
4. Once an outcome is reached, you will be sent an email.
5. The email includes a discount code for a reduced price ticket. You can use the unique code to register through the conference website.

There will be 400 or more people joining in-person or online. Please don’t let financial barriers lead you to miss the opportunity to join us.

The deadline for in-person bursary applications is 15 July, but we are extending the online bursary applications to 29 July.
