An Overview of ICM:2024 Research talks

In addition to the main conference sessions, the ICM:2024 programme – themed “Mindfulness in a Changing World,” – promises an insightful exploration of mindfulness through a diverse array of research presentations. This theme is distilled into five key strands, each offering a unique perspective on mindfulness in today’s evolving landscape.

With 100 talks spread over 22 sessions, conference attendees will have the opportunity to dip into each of these strands. All research sessions will be recorded, and some will be live-streamed. Recordings will be available for more than six months after the conference ends for main conference pass holders. Buy your pass now, either in-person or online.

To view all sessions and the research presented, visit each strand page. The strands are:

in addition, the research poster presentation session will take place on Friday evening, August 2, from 18:45 to 21:00 in PJ Hall at Bangor University’s Main Arts Building. This event will be part of a conference connection event, where attendees can view posters, enjoy some nibbles, and participate in a meet-the-author session or a mindful art talk.

Finally, all conference attendees have access to the online ICM:2024 Community Portal. Here, you can find a comprehensive list of all sessions, research titles, presenters, their affiliations, and full abstracts. Access to the portal is included with conference passes from 2-4 August, and it is also where all the recordings will be available after the conference.

With such a significant part of this conference focussing on academic research and hosted through Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP), the conference really showcases a commitment to cutting-edge mindfulness research.

A huge thank you to all the researchers and presenters who will be contributing to the richness of ICM:2024 ‘Mindfulness in a Changing World’.
