Before the conference begins, there are several exciting opportunities to get a flavour of what is to come at ICM:2024 and start making connections!

These activities are offered in collaboration with the Mindfulness Network Community Friends (MNCF) – an initiative to engage the wider mindfulness community and reach new audiences. Led by a Committee of Volunteers, supported by the Mindfulness Network, we work together to run a programme of donation-based events and inspiring content. You are welcome to visit the MNCF Community site, which is open to all, for more regular opportunities to practice and learn together.

affinity and interest groups

At the conference and online, there are various affinity and special interest groups tailored to specific interests and communities. These groups aim to bring people together in a supportive environment before, during, and after the conference to connect with folks who share similar interests, experiences or identities.

These groups will be self-managing with some suggested guidelines and practical ways of connecting available through the ICM:2024 Community Portal and conference social hub notice board. Current existing groups include the LGBTQIA+ Community affinity group; people of colour affinity group; mandarin speaking affinity group; affinity group for people living with or supporting others with fatigue; mindfulness affinity group for men; affinity group on Mindfulness for Supporting Perinatal Women and their Partners.

Icm:2024 community portal

NOW OPEN! Once registered for the conference, you’ll gain access to a private online community portal exclusively for conference attendees. Please check you email and junk folders to ensure you’ve received communication about joining the portal.

This central online space will host all supporting information and conference materials as they become available. It is important that you log in and keep checking back for updates before the conference begins on 2 August – we are looking forward to connecting with you there!
